Police Shoot Suspect After Knife Attack at Manchester Synagogue
Police forces shot a suspect after multiple individuals were stabbed and a car was reportedly driven toward bystanders outside a Hebrew congregation in Crumpsall.

Police were alerted to the scene on Middleton Road at 9:31am after a witness stated seeing a vehicle being driven at people and a individual being stabbed.
"Shots were discharged by armed police personnel at 9:38am. An individual has been shot, believed to be the suspect," the police announced in a official statement.
Medical Response
Emergency medical teams arrived at just before 9:45 a.m. and are currently caring for injured individuals, with four people suffering wounds from both the vehicle and stab wounds.
Members of the public are being advised to avoid the vicinity while police proceed to manage the situation.

Reports indicate a security perimeter has been established and a major thoroughfare has been closed as officers respond to the incident.
"After reports of an occurrence on the road in Crumpsall, the trust has sent personnel to the location. We are currently evaluating the situation and coordinating with other agencies of the first responders. Our priority is to ensure people receive the treatment they require as quickly as possible."
